Our goal at Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric, Inc. is simple: to consistently provide high-quality heating and air conditioning equipment, installations, service, and repair to our residential and commercial customers in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Morris, Union and Essex counties.

Our history: growth, expansion, employee development

Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Cooling, Inc. was established in 1989 by Michael DeJoseph in Bloomfield, NJ as a heating and cooling company, moving to a one-room office Nutley in 1991, where we quickly began to grow. We moved to a larger location and in 1993, we added an electrical division to provide more efficient service to our customers.

With a reputation for fast, reliable service, professionalism, and immaculate installations we continued to grow and in 2005 Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric moved to Little Falls, where we have our central office, a large warehouse, conference room, sheet metal shop, and our fleet of vans. We added installation and service of home standby generators in 2006 and in 2020 added various in-duct and whole-home air purifiers to our product line.

In January 2025 our general manager, Jack Lamb, who joined Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric in 2000, became the new owner when our founder and president, Michael DeJoseph, retired.

Jack began his career with us as a full-time electrician and over time, Jack learned HVAC service work and system installations, ran the service department, and became general manager in 2014. He said he owes his professional evolution and expanded knowledge of the HVAC industry to Mike DeJoseph—and now he oversees the professional development of our team members while also enhancing our customer service capabilities.
