Don’t get stuck in the cold. Winter brings colder temperatures and lots of snow. Therefore, you MUST clear the area around your furnace’s intake and exhaust pipes. These pipes come out the side of your house and are usually white plastic. When these pipes are blocked, combustion cannot occur and your furnace will shut itself off; leaving you with no heat.
