Similar to other air purifiers we sell and install, this device is installed in the HVAC system ductwork, so it doesn’t take up any room around your HVAC unit and because there are no moving parts, it’s maintenance-free.

What it does, how it works
The Platinum UV Light is a germicidal ultraviolet light that improves your indoor air quality by reducing many airborne biological contaminants—the bacteria, molds, and viruses that cause physical discomfort and illness. It kills microbes in the airstream that passes through your ductwork, ensuring that clean air returns to flow through your home. It does this via the UV-C light it emits, which disrupts pathogens’ DNA, which prevents them from reproducing, therefore effectively killing them.

This UV device is highly effective and works quickly. Its germ-killing effect starts immediately and sterilizes about 90% of surface microbes within the first few minutes, and sterilizes about 99.99% after the first 24 hours.
